Dos semanas de fiebre. Two weeks of fever

La fiebre no baja, así que internamos a Alondra ayer. Le hicieron varios análisis que confirman algún tipo de bacteria creciendo en algún lado. Estamos esperando otros resultados que nos den un poco más de información y también al cardiólogo que llega hoy de Kuala Lumpur.
Alondra tiene un cateter en una de sus manos. Durante el día suele estar bien, pero la primera noche en el hospital fue difícil. Por ahora está en un hospital privado en el que atiende su pediatra y tenemos un cuarto para ella sola. Pero si la infección es en su corazón vamos a trasladarla al hospital general donde atiende el cardiólogo. Depende el tipo de infección cuán largo sea el tratamiento y la estadía en el hospital.
Les pedimos sigan orando por Alondra. Que los antibióticos que le están dando cubran la infección que tenga y la fiebre baje. Que los análisis muestren con claridad qué tiene y cómo tratarlo. Que el cardiólogo la pueda ver pronto. Que el Señor nos guíe en cada decisión que tengamos que tomar.
Le damos gracias a Dios que podemos estar con ella todo el tiempo (y no tenemos que dejarla sola en el hospital como en Singapur).
Nos duele mucho ver a Alondra mal otra vez, pero confiamos en el plan de Dios para su vida, perfecto, mucho mejor que el nuestro. La amamos tanto y estamos tan felices de que sea nuestra hijita.
Oren también por Timo. Hoy entró a la habitación de Alondra y preguntó si nos estabamos mudando ahí para siempre! Cuando pasan cosas así también tiende a portarse mal.
Damos gracias por amigos cerca que nos ayudan dandonos de comer y cuidando a Timo. Y damos gracias por cada uno de ustedes donde estén en el mundo, orando. Un abrazo a cada uno.

Fever is not going down, so Alondra was admitted to the hospital yesterday. The first results showed bacterial growth of some kind, somewhere. We are waiting for more results that will tell what kind of bacteria is it and how to treat it. We are also waiting for her cardiologist to come back today from Kuala Lumpur.
Alondra has an IV in one of her hands. She tends to be fine during the day, but the first night at the hospital was hard. She is in a private hospital where her pediatrician works and has a room to herself, but if her infection is heart related we will be moving her to the general hospital where the cardiologist is. The length of her hospital stay will depend on the type of infection.
So please continue to pray for Alondra. We would like for the current antibiotics to be the ones covering whatever it is she has. In any case, pray that the results will clearly show what is it that she has and that there will be a treatment for it. Please pray the cardiologist will be able to see her as soon as possible. And pray for us, for wisdom on each decision. They are hard ones.
We are very thankful for the fact that we can stay with her in the hospital and don't have to leave her there as we did in Singapore.
It's so hard to see her unwell again, but we continue to trust in God's plans for her life, perfect plans, way better than ours. We love Alondra so much and are so, so glad she is our daughter.
Please pray for Timo as well. Today he visited Alondra's room and asked if we were moving in there for ever! He also tends to misbehave when things like this happen.
We are thankful for friends who are helping us, cooking us meals and looking after Timo. And we thank God for each of you who are praying for us.
