Visita al Dr./Doctor's appointment

Hoy llevamos a Alondra a ver al cirujano. Nos dijo que está muy bien y que podemos volver a casa. ¡Si, que podemos volver a Kuching! Todavía me acuerdo cuando hicimos las valijas para venir, que no sabíamos si nos íbamos a quedar un mes o cinco. Poder volver a casa en dos semanas es casi increíble.

Los médicos que atendieron a Alondra también son increíbles, desde el primer día. Y hoy, el último día, decidieron que no nos iban a cobrar sus honorarios. Increíble. Esto quiere decir que solamente tenemos que pagar los gastos del hospital. Otro día les cuento más. Por ahora, espero que a ustedes también los haga llorar esta noticia como a mi.

Vamos a quedarnos en Singapur hasta que tengamos fuerzas para hacer las valijas otra vez :) Por ahora nos estamos recuperando y disfrutando de estar juntos. Tenemos tantas cosas por las que estar agradecidos.

Today we had our follow up visit to the doctor. He says Alondra looks great and we are good to go! Yes, go back to Kuching! I still remembered packing to come here, not knowing if we were going to stay a month or five. To be able to go back home in just two weeks is unbelievable.

What an amazing team of doctors Alondra has had. They were great from day one. And on the last day, guess what? They decided they were not charging us their fees. Amazing. That means we only have to pay for the hospital fees. Wé'll tell you more about this some other time. For now, I just hope this brings tears to your eyes as it does to mine.

We'll be in Singapore until we get organized enough to pack :) We are taking this time to catch our breath and enjoy each other. But we'll be home soon! Wow. So many reasons to give thanks.
